ERIN MCLELLAN

Erin is a trumpet player based in Manchester, originally from Scotland, who is currently

studying her Masters at the Royal Northern College of Music.

She began her musical career by playing cornet in her local brass band, Campbeltown Brass Band.

This lead to her moving onto the trumpet at the age of 11 when she went to the Royal Conservatoire

of Scotland Juniors school until moving to Manchester for university.

Since being in Manchester, Erin has had the opportunity to perform with the leading orchestras in the

north, such as; BBC Philharmonic Orchestra, the Hallé, Opera North and Manchester Camerata.

When Erin isn’t playing the trumpet, she enjoys playing golf and going out to watch the football.
